Our client is a multinational finance company looking for Project Manager coverage for multiple internal IT security-related projects. They are seeking an IT Security Project Manager with experience delivering large-scale initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.

The selected candidate must be based in Japan.

Job Description

• Managing IT security projects from initiation to close, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
• Leading stakeholder management across global and regional teams
• Managing and clarifying scope during initial project phases, with a focus on security requirements and controls
• Ensuring stakeholder alignment and approval of scope, security requirements, and deliverables
• Project risk, issue, assumption, and dependency management with a strong focus on security and compliance risks
• Defining and maintaining clear project documentation, including security-related scope, requirements, and governance processes
• Coordinating with IT security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to ensure successful delivery

Successful Applicant

• Experience managing IT security or information security-related projects
• Strong background in infrastructure and/or security projects (e.g. security architecture, IAM, network security, cloud security, compliance initiatives)
• Project management experience of 3-5 years
• Experience in the finance or insurance industry is a plus
• Must be currently based in Japan
