Position Summary
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) supports the Program Management Office Support Services functional line for the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB by delivering enterprise analytics, reporting, and data integrity oversight. This role provides advanced data modeling, operational insights, and configuration and change data validation that strengthen decision‑making across hosting sustainment, cybersecurity, and program support functions. The Senior Analyst ensures enterprise data is accurate, traceable, and audit‑ready across 2,000+ servers, 250+ applications, and multiple enclaves, enabling effective performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and modernization planning in a large and complex IT environment. As a senior‑level contributor, this position independently executes high‑visibility and mission‑critical tasks, functions as a technical expert across multiple assignments, and may oversee the work of less senior staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Customer Relationship Management Database (CRMDb) as the authoritative customer relationship record, ensuring accuracy of hosted system inventory, configuration attributes, financial associations, program ownership, and system administrator points of contact.
- Produce the monthly CRMDb Operational Assessment report and ensure CRMDb data aligns with approved changes and configuration baselines.
- Identify configuration drift, missing attributes, and dependency inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze CMDB, change, incident, work order, and SLA performance data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Develop dashboards and reports supporting configuration, change, and operational performance, including impact analysis, trend identification, and service improvement opportunities.
- Support operational and financial analytics, including performance monitoring, forecasting, and showback activities that inform service quality, risk mitigation, and modernization planning.
- Prepare analytics and reporting packages supporting program reviews, manpower reporting, monthly reporting requirements, and Government data calls.
- Support cybersecurity analytics, including vulnerability trends, system hardening status, compliance reporting, and evidence preparation for Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cross‑domain compliance activities.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing traceability records, configuration snapshots, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain organized repositories for analytics products, data sources, and audit evidence.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs, functional leads, Government stakeholders, and leadership to ensure data accuracy, reporting alignment, and clear communication of analytics findings.
- Ensure all analytics and documentation meet accuracy, completeness, and auditability standards.
- Apply senior‑level expertise to plan and lead major analytical assignments, evaluate performance results, recommend improvements, and ensure successful execution of high‑impact tasks.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or ITSM analytics supporting IT or federal programs.
- Experience developing dashboards, data models, or analytics products using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of enterprise IT operations (systems, networks, storage, virtualization).
- Experience supporting Configuration and Change Management, ITSM processes, or CMDB/CRMDb data governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and technical data.
- Proficiency with SQL, ETL processes, or data integration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background investigation.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.
- Experience supporting DoD data center operations or enterprise IT programs.
- Experience with configuration baselines, dependency mapping, or cloud analytics.
Working Conditions / Environment / Physical Demands
- Position is performed on site at Hill AFB, Utah, in a secure professional environment.
- Standard work schedule is MondayFriday during normal business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet critical deadlines.
- Core duty hours: MondayFriday, 06001800 MST.
- Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including prolonged periods of sitting and screen time.
- Requires independent work with minimal supervision, as well as collaboration with cross‑functional teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders.
- Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or program reviews.
