JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Data Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics to provide management reporting. Maintains HRIS data integrity and prepares routine and ad hoc reports to support the department. Maintain reporting and compensation metrics. Participating in and analyzing the results of compensation surveys. Prepare and present compensation reports and recommendations. Provides support for all HR databases/systems, and creates training tutorials, job aids, and other documentation for employee training. Responsible for troubleshooting services, technical assistance, and training to ensure effective utilization of HR systems. Will assist with rollout and communications related to new systems and initiatives. Responsible for providing analytical support and data analysis on projects and HR metrics. Will stay informed about legislation and regulations affecting compensation practices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be located within a commutable distance to Broadview Heights, OH.

Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
COMPETENCIES:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or other related fields.
Four to seven years of work experience in HR Reporting & Data experience or an equivalent field.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS preferred.
Understanding of Human Resources functions, reporting, and record-keeping requirements.
Knowledge to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws involving all areas of HR.
Extensive knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions. These may include functions such as Pivot Tables, Auto-filtering, Conditional Formatting, Text-to-Columns, Data Validations, VLookup/HLookup, Count-if, Graphing, and If/Then formulas.
Working knowledge of SharePoint or other web design programs, Internet research skills, HRIS and database software, and report writing and queries.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
