While our hospital never sleeps, this leadership position is focused on our daytime operations. As the Lead RVT, you will be the primary anchor for our technician team, ensuring high-quality medicine, mentoring staff, and maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow during our peak hours. We are a fast-paced environment that thrives on diverse challenges; if you are a proactive leader who enjoys a high-energy clinic, you will fit right in. What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
Lead the Floor: Coordinate staff duties and direct the daily flow of the clinic.
Mentor & Develop: Lead staff evaluations, training, and goal-setting initiatives to help our team grow.
Clinical Oversight: Oversee controlled substance logs, surgery logs, and equipment maintenance.
Communication: Maintain open lines of communication between the team and leadership; lead accountability and coaching conversations to maintain our high standards of care.
Experienced: Minimum of 3 years of veterinary nursing/tech experience highly preferred.
Leader: Minimum of 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
Technical Expert: Strong veterinary skill set with surgical and anesthesia confidence.
Team Player: Confident, reliable, and possessed of excellent communication skills.
