We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a passion for public media. In this role, you will oversee the scheduling of radio programs, underwriting messages, and other content, ensuring a smooth and efficient broadcast flow. You will collaborate closely with programming, sales, and other departments to ensure content airs as scheduled and adheres to station standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient distribution of multimedia content.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities Report to the Program Director and support other departments to ensure smooth and consistent station operations.
Direct the production, including voicing, editing, producing, and scheduling imaging and promo spots;
Serve as a regular voice-tracking talent
Be a fill-in host/ announcer/board operator as needed.
Oversight for the daily operations of the radio station, ensuring compliance with FCC rules and regulations.
Maintain accurate schedules, records, discrepancy reports, and communications.
Serve as a primary technical expert for Audio-Vault and maintain documentation for systems changes and updates
Execute short- and long-term goals, objectives, projects, policies, and procedures in alignment with WFAE strategic priorities.
Develop and maintain documentation systems for operations, volunteers, equipment, and compliance activities including prepare reports as needed.
Advise and assist the Program Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating modifications to operations and systems.
Act as secondary PRSS/PRX administrator; support program-related distribution and promotional material.
Provide broadcast staff with clear documentation and problem-solving resources.
Train and support staff in the use of studio technology and software.
