Position Summary
As a Technical SME on the RxClaim Platform Integrity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and modernization of our pharmacy claims processing systems. These systems handle millions of prescriptions daily, directly impacting the health and well-being of our customers. You will lead technical initiatives, support platform health, and drive continuous improvement across our IBMi-based infrastructure.
**We prefer candidates be hybrid in Richardson, TX but can consider other hubs or remote for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a technical expert for RxClaim platform, ensuring system integrity and stability.
Monitor and enhance RxClaim system health and performance metrics.
Lead modernization efforts for IBMi systems, including automation and integration with cloud platforms.
Advocate for sound data architecture and maintain DB2i database integrity.
Standardize database and release-level deliverables across teams.
Manage release staging and environment builds for development and change management.
Collaborate with development and support teams to improve code release quality.
Maintain and enhance internal development tools and CI/CD processes.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and influence best practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of progressive IT experience with deep knowledge of IBMi system-level concepts and integration patterns.
2+ years leading application teams to deliver technical improvements and initiatives.
5+ years of experience in software development methodologies and platforms including:
5+ years of experience with IBMi development and operations, including Operating system fundamentals DB2i, RPG, RPGLE, CL, COBOL, COBOLLE, SQL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Synon and ALDON.
Experience with RxClaim or similar pharmacy claim adjudication systems.
Background in Healthcare or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
Experience in legacy system modernization.
Familiarity with IBMi integration with cloud platforms.
Experience in AI-driven system health monitoring.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
