The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate migration, analysis and transformation of scheme data, alongside configuring and testing automated calculations within our administration systems. In addition to managing the delivery of new client installations, you'll play an active part in shaping our tools and processes to deliver a more streamlined and efficient service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on data analysis, transformation, and migration activities for DB pension scheme transitions.
- Configure, test, and automate benefit calculations in administration systems.
- Draft scheme benefit summaries and review benefit specifications to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Carry out detailed data audits and reconciliations, identifying and resolving anomalies.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, client-friendly explanations.
- Contribute to project plans and deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Drive improvements in technology, tools, and processes to increase efficiency.
About You
You will be highly numerate, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong background in pensions data and benefit calculations. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in DB pensions administration, particularly with data and calculation work.
- Strong skills in data analysis, reconciliation, and system-based benefit automation.
- Experience of drafting or reviewing technical documentation, such as benefit specifications or summaries.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Clear communication skills - able to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a track record of process improvement.
