Senior Systems Analyst, QBE Insurance Corporation, New York, NY:

Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop and enhance business systems that align with strategic objectives and roadmaps. Analyze business requirements and implement appropriate solutions. Ensure effective handover of application changes and enhancements, providing support as needed. Proactively build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Conduct impact analysis and ensure thorough quality checks are performed. Execute implementation, handover, and support activities as required. Estimate effort for tasks, report on progress, and manage all activities within the agreed budget. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of outputs. Minimize rework required during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or post-implementation. Complete testing activities to the required quality standards, within the scheduled timeframe and budget. Achieve implementation according to the project plan. Maintain accuracy and timeliness in reporting. Identify, communicate, and mitigate and manage risks and issues as they arise.

Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, $150,550.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Networks and Communications, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in the following:

• Collaborating with business and IT teams to develop and enhance business systems;
• Analyzing and documenting business requirements and implementing appropriate solutions;
• Engaging and working with business and IT stakeholders;
• Coordinating Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Testing for projects; and
• Majesco Policy Admin system analysis and design.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in utilizing Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, XML and SQL.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in utilizing Agile methodology.
